“We recently stayed at the Whitehouse in Port Douglas and really enjoyed the experience. We loved sitting on our balcony, relaxing. It was a quiet and restful place to just sit, have a drink and relax. The bedroom was great and, more importantly, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and included a washing machine and dryer – as well as enough washing powder to do a full load of washing! Essential for us as we’d just come from a week in the Daintree Rainforest. The kitchen and lounge area was fabulous. The couches were comfortable and while we didn’t spend a lot of time watching tv, the screen was big enough to see from the kitchen. And the kitchen was great – a full sized fridge, dishwasher and more than enough plates, glasses and cutlery for the two of us.
